- The Small Business Administration certification is part of a contracting program that helps small companies compete for federal contracts. The government sets aside some of its contracts (both competitive set-aside and sole-source set-aside contracts) for small businesses each year to limit competition.
SBA EDWOSB Certified
Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business
- In an effort to provide a level playing field for women business owners, the government limits competition for certain contracts to businesses that participate in the Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Federal Contracting program. These contracts are for specific industries where WOSBs are underrepresented. Some contracts are restricted further to economically disadvantaged women-owned small businesses (EDWOSBs).
CSA STAR
Cloud Security Alliance Level 1
CSA STAR Self-Assessment is a complimentary offering that documents the security controls provided by various cloud computing offerings, thereby helping users assess the security of cloud providers they currently use or are considering using. Cloud providers submit the Consensus Assessments Initiative Questionnaire (CAIQ) to document compliance with the Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM). This information then becomes publicly available, promoting industry transparency and providing customer visibility into specific provider security practices. STAR Self-Assessments are updated annually.
